The problem

History education online is either a wall of text or a gamified toy. Doing it properly means dates that survive scrutiny, a tone that does not take sides, and typography that treats Arabic and Urdu as first-class rather than an afterthought.

What we built

  1. 01

Built three viewing modes over one dataset — an interactive globe, a flowing timeline ribbon and cinematic era scenes with synchronised narration and captions.

  2. 02

Localised into nine languages with correct per-script typography and genuine right-to-left layout, not a mirrored stylesheet.

  3. 03

Pre-generated multilingual narration with browser speech synthesis as a fallback, so audio works offline and off-budget.

  4. 04

Ran a multi-pass verification over dates, names, coordinates and neutrality of framing, recording sources per event.

  5. 05

Held the visual language to geometric and astronomical motifs, and shipped keyboard navigation, captions, reduced-motion and high-contrast paths.
