The pipeline
- 01 RingCaller dials the business's own number
- 02 ListenLive transcription, caller language detected
- 03 ThinkA cached model turn behind our own proxy
- 04 ActBooks, orders or dispatches for that tenant
- 05 SpeakVoice starts about seventy-five milliseconds after the text
- 06 WrapCall logged, SMS sent, webhooks fired
- 07 ShowOwner dashboard updates; push alert on orders
- 33languages answered natively
- 25+actions it can take mid-call
- 18third-party connectors built
- ~75 msto the first spoken syllable
The problem
A small operator's phone rings while everyone is elbows-deep in the work. An answering service takes a message; it does not open the calendar, price the job or put the order through. The alternative is a receptionist at hours nobody can afford to staff.
What we built
- 01
Assembled the voice path end to end — the business's own number, live transcription, a language-matched model turn, then speech back in roughly seventy-five milliseconds, which is inside the pause a caller would leave anyway.
- 02
Made it multi-tenant on the dialled number: every webhook resolves the business from the number that rang, so one assistant serves many businesses without their data meeting.
- 03
Built twenty-five call-time actions — booking and rescheduling, restaurant orders, trades dispatch, message taking, returning-caller recognition, SMS confirmation — over eighteen connector adapters spanning calendar, payments, point of sale, accounting, CRM, field service and ecommerce.
- 04
Wrote a custom model proxy that caches the unchanging half of every prompt, retries, falls back to a faster sibling model and finishes a half-streamed turn with a speakable line — because on a phone call the failure mode is silence.
- 05
Covered thirty-three languages with native greetings, routing the seven the primary transcriber does not support to a second provider rather than pretending they work.
- 06
Shipped the owner's side too: a dashboard in eight locales, subscription billing across five plans, seventy versioned migrations, six hundred and forty-three backend tests and thirteen scheduled jobs on a quarter-hour cadence.
